The Story So Far

Hi, I’m Barry Robinson — a lifelong angler and lure-maker with a passion for chasing predatory fish, especially Pike. Fishing runs deep in my family; my father, grandfather, and great-grandfather all shared this same love for the water.

Like many, I began fishing on the local canals, competing in matches until my mid-20s. But that’s when I truly caught the Pike fishing bug — and I’ve never looked back. The jerkbait boom in the UK had just taken off, and I was fascinated by the big, bold wooden and soft plastic lures. After saving for the right gear, I landed my first Pike on a lure, and I was hooked for life.

It wasn’t long before I started designing and crafting my own lures. The first attempts were rough — clunky wood, messy paint — but they caught fish. That was enough to ignite an obsession.

Fast forward to today: I’ve spent years refining my craft, developing a range of lures that reflect my fishing style and meet the highest standards. I only sell lures that I personally fish with and truly believe in.
