The Jacktail

The Jacktail is a hyper-realistic Jack Pike imitation that works as a pullbait, jerkbait, or straight-retrieve lure — and it comes with a unique adjustable weighting system as standard.

Originally designed as a slow-floating pullbait, the Jacktail can be customized to suit your fishing conditions. With three internal chambers (chin, mid-body, and tail), you can reposition weights to change its presentation:

• Head down, horizontal, or tail down

• Fast float, slow float, or even sinking with extra weight

The lure comes with 3 x 4.5 g stainless steel balls. Load them all in (9 g) for a slow float, or adjust to get the exact rise and fall you want. This flexibility makes the Jacktail a truly versatile predator lure.

But here’s the secret: the Jacktail isn’t about wild action. It shines when fished ultra-slow and subtle, almost like a Pike fly. Sometimes, doing less is what triggers the strike.
