The shimmy shad has a very unique action, the tail swings from side to side and the whole body shimmies, there is zero roll from the shad and this was designed into the bait on purpose. Sometimes Pike can get wary of softbaits with a pronounced body roll. Deadly in both sizes, the ‘shimmy’ shad is best used as a straight retrieve lure rather a jigging style shad.
